1. Chỉ báo nhanh (leading indicator) – chỉ báo chậm (lagging indicator)
Chúng ta đã học qua một số chỉ báo trong lớp trước và lớp này sẽ giúpchúng ta làm rõ một số khái niệm nhằm hiểu rõ hơn điểm mạnh, điểm yếu của từng chỉ báo nhằm xác định xem chỉ báo nào phù hợp với bạn.
Có 2 dạng chỉ báo : chỉ báo nhanh (leading indicator – chỉ báo dẫn dắt) và chỉ báo chậm (lagging indicator)
Một chỉ báo nhanh sẽ cho tín hiệu trước khi một xu hướng mới hay sự đảo chiều hình thành
Một chỉ báo chậm cho tín hiệu sau khi xu hướng đã bắt đầu và cảnh báo bạn rằng “này anh bạn, chú ý, xu hướng mới đã bắt đầu và bạn đang trễ tàu đấy”.
Bạn có thể sẽ nghĩ “Ồ, tôi sẽ làm giàu với các chỉ báo nhanh” vì nó cho tín hiệu ngay khi một xu hướng mới hình thành
Tất nhiên bạn đúng, trong điều kiện là chỉ báo nhanh phải bắt đúng tất cả mọi tín hiệu. Buồn thay, không phải lúc nào nó cũng đúng
Khi bạn dùng chỉ báo nhanh, bạn sẽ đối mặt với khá nhiều tín hiệu sai với chỉ báo nhanh là “thủ phạm”
Vì vậy, bạn cần ghi nhớ rằng nhanh chưa chắc đã đúng và chính xác
Đối với chỉ bảo chậm – lagging indicator, nó chỉ phát tín hiệu khi giá đã hình thành xu hướng một cách rõ ràng. Nhược điểm của nó là nó khiến bạn bị trễ khi vào lệnh
Có thể phân chia 2 tất cả các loại chỉ báo – indicator – mà bạn biết vào 2 dạng của bài học này:
- Chỉ báo nhanh hay còn gọi là chỉ báo dao động – oscillator
- Chỉ báo chậm, chỉ báo đi theo xu hướng (trend-following), hay chỉ báo động lượng
Mặc dù 2 loại chỉ báo này có thể hỗ trợ lẫn nhau nhưng thực ra chúng đối lập với nhau. Vì vậy, chúng ta sẽ tìm hiểu kỹ về chúng trong các phần tiếp theo
2. Chỉ báo nhanh – Chỉ báo dao động (leading indicator – oscillator)
Một chỉ báo dao động là một công cụ phân tích đi lên đi xuống giữa 2 cực, thường được gọi là khu vực “Quá mua” – overbought – hoặc “Quá bán” – oversold, từ đó phát ra tín hiệu mua hoặc bán
Những chỉ báo dao động đã học là PSAR, Stochastic và RSI. Chúng được thiết kế để báo hiệu khả năng đảo chiều.
Hãy xem một số ví dụ
Mở cả 3 chỉ báo nói trên lên cùng biểu đồ GBPUSD
khung thời gian ngày. Bạn hãy tự nhớ cách giao dịch với các chỉ báo này nhé
Cả 3 chỉ báo này cùng phát tín hiệu mua vào cuối tháng 12. Nếu bạn giao dịch với tín hiệu đó, bạn đã kiếm được 400 pips
Sau đó, trong suốt tuần thứ 3 của tháng 1, cả Stoch, PSAR và RSI đều cho tín hiệu bán. Và, giá đã giảm ở 3 tháng tiếp theo.
Khoảng giữa tháng 4, cả 3 đều cho tín hiệu bán 1 lần nữa, sau đó lại là một đợt giảm điểm Tất cả các tín hiệu trên đều đẹp, tuy nhiên, hãy xem những ví dụ không hoàn hảo dưới đây Ở biểu đồ tiếp theo, bạn sẽ thấy các chỉ báo này cho tín hiệu ngược nhau
Khi PSAR cho tín hiệu bán vào giữa tháng 2 thì Stoch lại cho tín hiệu mua. Vậy biết theo cái nào? Trong khi đó, RSI lại chưa có tín hiệu rõ rệt
Nhìn vào biểu đồ bên trên, có thể thấy những tín hiệu sai
xảy ra
Trong suốt tuần thứ 2 của tháng 4, cả Stoch và RSI đều cho tín hiệu bán trong khi PSAR lại không cho. Cuối cùng, giá vẫn tăng và nếu bạn đặt lệnh bán, bạn đã thua lỗ
Bạn sẽ có lệnh lỗ tiếp theo vào giữa tháng 5 nếu bạn theo tín hiệu mua của Stoch và RSI và bỏ qua tín hiệu bán của PSAR
Điều gì đã khiến các chỉ báo phát tín hiệu khác nhau? Đó là do công thức cấu thành nên chúng khác nhau.
Stochastic thì dựa vào vùng giá từ mức cao đến thấp của một kỳ thời gian và không quan tâm đến sự thay đổi của kỳ này sang kỳ kia
RSI lại dựa vào sự thay đổi của giá đóng cửa kỳ tiếp theo Trong khi đó, PSAR lại là một công thức tính toán khác.
Vì vậy, sự xung đột tín hiệu là hoàn toàn có thể xảy ra. Đây là điều tự nhiên mà thôi.
Không thể nào tránh việc những tín hiệu trái nhau như vậy nên quan trọng là cần cẩn thận. Tốt nhất, bạn hãy ngồi ngoài thị trường khi các chỉ báo bạn yêu thích không chỉ cùng hướng
3. Chỉ báo chậm – Chỉ báo động lượng (momentum indicator)
Làm cách nào để thấy một xu hướng?
Chỉ báo có thể giúp làm điều này mà chúng ta đã được học là MACD và đương trung bình (MA)
Những chỉ báo này sẽ chỉ ra xu hướng một khi xu hướng đã hình thành và chỉ ra tín hiệu giao dịch chậm một chút
Điểm tốt là tín hiệu chậm sẽ ít sai hơn
Trên chart GBPUSD phía trên, chúng ta đặt 2 đường trung bình là EMA 10 (màu xanh) và EMA 20 (màu đỏ) và MACD
Vào khoảng giữa tháng
10, EMA 10 cắt lên EMA 20 tạo tín hiệu tăng giá
Đồng thời, MACD cũng cắt lên và cho tín hiệu mua Nếu bạn đặt lệnh mua, bạn đã có lợi nhuận.
Sau đó, cả 2 đường EMA và MACD lại cho vài tín hiệu bán xuống. Giá cũng đi xuống sau tín hiệu
Bây giờ hãy xem một biểu đồ khác để thấy những tín hiệu sai.
Vào giữa tháng 3, MACD giao cắt lên tạo tín hiệu mua trong khi các EMA thì không cho tín hiệu Nếu bạn mua vào theo MACD, bạn đã bị thua lỗ
Tương tự, tín hiệu mua từ MACD vào cuối tháng 5 cũng không trùng với tín hiệu từ EMA. Nếu bạn mua theo tín hiệu này, bạn lại tiếp tục thua lỗ do giá giảm lại sau đó

Vậy làm thế nào để xác định khi nào sử dụng chỉ báo dao động và khi nào sử dụng chỉ báo động lượng, hoặc cả hai?
